Tax Rebates Are On The Way!

The Montana Department of Revenue will begin issuing tax rebates to over 530,000 qualifying Montana taxpayers starting from July 3.

The rebates, resulting from the passage of House Bill 192, will be equal to the amount of a taxpayer's 2021 taxes, up to $1,250 for certain filers.

The rebates will be directly deposited into bank accounts or sent as checks, and taxpayers don’t need to apply as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

Additionally, property owners in Montana will also be eligible for property tax rebates in the coming years.
