Phase 2 means MCPS Has Immediate Openings

Missoula County Public Schools needs staff! Teachers, paraeducators, noon duty aides, custodians, and a pool of substitutes are essential to smooth operations in “Phase 2.” MCPS is currently working to send students back to in-person learning, five days per week. In order to support full classrooms every day, they need to hire 16 staff members in their elementary buildings alone. Thus, the school district needs help from the community to fill these positions as soon as possible. There is reason to be hopeful because they have already filled many of the positions posted, but more is needed following the board’s decisions to move all schools to Phase 2.
