UM's financial health is the strongest in a decade
The University of Montana saw a nearly 6% enrollment increase at its main campus this fall, with total enrollment up 5%, marking the largest growth in 15 years.
The student body grew by 484 students, driven by a 47% rise in first-year freshmen since 2020.
Key increases include a 10.8% rise in student veterans, 11.9% in Native American students, and 15.7% in first-generation students.
