State Housing Division Offers Hope to Homeowners

HELENA, MT - Montana Housing Division administrator, Cheryl Cohen, says the Montana Department of Commerce has launched a new homeowner assistance program. The program can provide thousands of dollars to homeowners who are delinquent on mortgages, taxes and/or utilities because of pandemic-related hardships. In a pilot program assistance ranged from $2500 to $25,000 per homeowner.
