Quit Line Celebrates 20 Years

Since its launch in May 2004, the Montana Tobacco Quit Line has assisted over 115,000 individuals, with more than 36,000 successfully quitting tobacco and nicotine products.

Now rebranded as Quit Now Montana for its 20th Anniversary,

The program offers free quit coaching via phone, online chat, and text messaging for under-25s, along with nicotine replacement therapy and FDA-approved medications. Despite progress, tobacco use remains a leading cause of preventable death in Montana.
